What Happens When Someone First Encounters Human Design?

People have a range of experiences upon first encountering Human Design.

You can hear about HD countless times without actually connecting to it. In one ear and out the other. Not feeling much, or anything. That might be the end of it— or maybe one day you hear it explained in a new way and all of the sudden it lands. You can sense that you are connecting with something very powerful, you can feel that Truth is present.

Once you’ve tasted the frequency of this knowledge, you may or may not desire more.

And if you do decide you want to connect more deeply with the Human Design system, the impact may be subtle or it may be massive. It could be practical and it can also be spiritual.

I’ve had clients say “wow, you know me so well even though we just met. that was validating, thanks!” And then simply proceed with business as usual.

I’ve had clients say it improved their efficiency at work, or changed how they ran their business & produced greater results.

And I’ve also had clients report that our reading was the catalyst for major life changes, it helped them get clear on really big decisions they were grappling with, or that it unlocked something totally unexpected.

Sometimes a reading will remind you of what you already knew but may have forgotten or repressed, or offer permission to be who you already know yourself to be and do what you know you want to do without feeling guilty.

And sometimes, a reading might highlight major blind spots. You might book a reading expecting that it’ll reaffirm what you’re doing— and then walk away with the inconvenient but ultimately liberating truth that you actually don’t know what youre doing, and there’s a whole world available to you if you’re willing to surrender what you thought you knew. It can be highly confronting, challenging the limiting beliefs you’ve been desperately clinging to.
